A ten-minute pink over the water one March evening, gone before the paint was mixed.
Visual language
Bands of colour rather than objects: sky, sea, sand, each a little warmer than the last.
Medium & technique
Painted wet into wet in a single long session, then left untouched.
Ideal display
Calm and quiet. It holds its own in a bedroom or a reading corner.
